ok seriously i feel that when god was making me, he was really pissed off with us humans or something. he gave me the slowest metabolism that i know of. my body thinks it needs to store fats inside me event hough i am not exactly stuck in a desert here. Though i have persevered and lost about 15kg since my chubby early teen years. I am now of a healthy weight but I wish to lose more weight. about 7-10kg more. I wish to have a body like those Korean models. FML.
So even though it is tough, I am working towards it, but like any girl I easily lose focus and then I am back to being lazy. When I am in school, i eat brown rice because it keeps me fuller for a longer time and keeps my tummy pretty flat, unlike white rice. -___________-''
For all those people who wish to lose weight, trust me and do not go on a crash diet. read my lips, okay my words, IT NEVER WORKS FOR LONG TIME. I tried doing the Dukan diet and the first week I lost about 3kg. That is great news right? wrong. Because there is so much protein you can eat before CARBS will call you to them. and i gained back the weight straight away. I only lost water weight you see. If you wish to permanently lose all the weight, and not gain it back despite having a carefree lifestyle, you HAVE to do it the healthy way. I am saying it from experience. Been there done that.
cut back on junk food. That's seriously important. You also have to find that one weakness that is making you fat. For me it was my mum's food. When she started working, I lost 10 kg in a few months time. And no, i did not gain the weight back this time. Because my appetite decreased greatly so i started eating lesser. So if it is Mac's or KFC for you, you know what to do! Exercising alone will not help you as much as watching your diet will. It is all about portion control. So you can still eat the things you like, just in smaller quantity. so recently i was just stuck with that 10kg lesser weight, so i took matter to my hands and lost around 4-5kg during my one month of holidays.
I started jogging or going to the gym ALMOST everyday. though like every Libra, greatly accustomed to luxury, I would get lazy all the time and not go out. no motivation mah. it is more fun when you have someone that can motivate you constantly. every one in my family is not bothered about weight, though they are all in healthy weight. So I would go jogging with my sister's friends.
My best friend have also recently got this Xbox kinetic on a sale for $400+, i recently saw it in courts for $500+. If you can afford it, I would reccomend getting that. The most fun way to sweat it out EVER!!!!! I personally love the dancing game because I love to dance. You just get so lost in the game, that you will not even realize you have spend 1-2hrs doing intense cardio. imagine doing that everyday at the comfort of your house. My BFF lost about 2kg in one week. Though she is not fat, she is blessed with fast metabolism *envious* and she NEVER exercised. She sweated more during the workout than she would have during PE in school.
every one wants to lose weight for different reasons. Mine is a vain reason and I am not shy to admit that. After all we all want to look good and have a slender figure. When I used to be chubby i used to be shy about wearing different styles of clothing because I would be constantly worried about my not so perfect body. I would put on many layers because who wants to show off fat arms or tummy right? -.- Now I am not THAT bothered and i normally throw on anything when I go to Poly. I also can wear much different types of clothes. :)

So despite losing this much weight since my early teen years to now, i want to continue to lose more weight. Another effective way I have discovered is to put small rewards for yourself. Like for example I am a shopaholic and I love to buy clothes just like many girls my age. So recently I have told myself that I will not buy new clothes till I am of a certain weight. So i bought this extremely cool vest recently on a sale but I have not worn it yet because I have told myself that i will only wear it after I have lost 2-3kg and came to my current target weight. haha. silly I know, but it works for me! :)
