i just went to Daiso yesterday and seriously each time I go there, I have to FORCE myself to not buy everything! >< i seriously love love love everything they sell in there and you know the fact that its so cheap makes you wanna buy everything there! i mean u look at each item and think oh its only $2, buy lah. so yeah. came back with a really full plastic bag yesterday. the woman just stuffed everything into one plastic bag.
for those who dont know what is Daiso, it is a japanese store which is in a few countries and here in singapore they sell everything for $2! no matter how big or small each item is, when u put each object into your basket, it is $2 each per item, as simple as that! :D because of which compulsive buyers like me put every cute pretty object into our basket only to scold ourselves later on as we painstakingly take them out of the basket because hello, its like filled to the brim. -.- so enough talking, pictures!!
so this is all the things i bought from Daiso yst, and this was after i had put back MANY ITEMS back into the shelves. T.T
actually I needed all these shit for my module which is 3D art and we have to make things which are well 3D. damn tough. cause we only get a few days to complete each assignment. i spent so much for just one assignment. when you are a design student get ready to spend money on art supplies that you dont wanna buy but have to anyways. I mean I should show you guys my copic markers collection which costs $6+ per marker! I spend so much money on them! Imagine how much shopping I could have done with that much money! ><
I made this using the things i bought from Daiso for my 10cm wire sculpture. I still need to do 30 cm which I have NO idea how am i Going to finish, cause I am currently down with flu and slight fever. meh. :/
this was the unnecessary stuff which I actually don't need but just buy anyway.
the small bag on the left hand side is an aluminium bag to keep warm food warm and cool things cool. I bought it for my mum, and then i realised that it's too small! FUUU.... i am going to try my luck in exchanging it today. though I have no idea whether Daiso does exchange. :/
ok this notebook is so pretty, that even though I didnt need it, I had to buy this, its like so pretty, i dun even.....
I have been wanting to buy this sleeping eye mask FOREVER, so when i saw it again I could not control myself. no explanation needed.
these blankies are going to be purrrfect to bring to my italian class because it is so frigging cold, I dont know how the other students handle the ac. :/ i could not even choose between these 2 prints, so i bought both! there were other prints I wanted to buy but I had to force myself not to!
so this is my most favourite print, I LOVE this one to the max! it is just nice and small enough to cover my lap. :)
This was my total bill. wtf. I SPENT NEARLY $30! for things which costs $2 each. If i had actually bought all the things that I had initially put into my basket it would definetely go up to $50. and this was after i told myself that I am strictly going there to buy my art supplies.
And I also bought this aluminium wrap to wrap my lunch box, its pink with white polka dots! it can cover even my biggest lunch box! I just have to wrap it really tight and just pull the rubber band around and you are done! I dont have the picture of the actual object because I used it to wrap my sister's lunch for today. :) it not only looks super cute like in those japanese dramas and animes where they bring their lunch to school/work, it is also functional cause it will keep my food warm or cold depending on the initial temperature. :)
I seriously feel like the happiest girl each time I bring home all these small little cute things from Daiso, I think it makes me feel even more happier than when I shop for clothes or shoes. hmm... thats weird. even if it is something I am only going to use at home and no one from public can see it, it makes me look forward to the small little things in my life. :)
My elder sister told me she wants to go Daiso today to buy some things and asked me to follow her, man how can I say no?!? oh boy, here we go again....
